Picking Flowers for Workshop

When planning your visit to our flower farm, it's important to come prepared to ensure a pleasant and enjoyable experience. Here are some things you should know and consider.

Arrival

When you arrive, please park in the designated are ready for your convenience, then follow the visible signs leading from the parking area to the u-pick entrance.

At the entrance, you will notice a welcome tent with important instructions. This is where we give a brief overview of flower availability, proper cutting techniques, and other safety instructions. We want your visit as exciting as possible.

With buckets and snips in hand, make your way to the flower field. Here, you will have the delightful task of picking fresh, colorful blooms and greenery from all around you. Take your time to explore and select your favourites. Our garden is designed with many varieties to choose from.

Footwear

Make sure your footwear is suitable for walking both in muddy/sandy conditions and uneven terrain. The farm paths can be a bit messy.

Attire

Dress according to the weather. A hat and sunscreen are advised for those hot sunny days. A rain jacket may be necessary if the forecast predicts showers. Bugs are present on the farm, consider bug spray, some flowers are sticky consider gloves for harvesting.

Hydration

It can get quite hot out in the sun, so stay hydrated. 

Harvesting

We will provide a bucket while harvesting for your workshop

Pets

For the safety and enjoyment of all visitors, please refrain from bringing Pets of Any Kind.

Washroom

Please be aware there are no washroom facilities out in the field but one will be made available during your workshop.

Allergies

There are many bees and insects on the farm. Exercise caution while picking flowers to ensure a safe experience. If you, or any one in your party, have a serious allergy to anything that may be present on the farm, please notify us. There are no EpiPens available at the farm.

Completion

Once you have gathered your desired flowers, head back to the welcome tent for further instructions to complete your workshop.
